Brass cymbals, traditionally known as Sagat, are etched with an AI language that mixes the signs of hieroglyphics with the root system of Arabic. This futurized language glints in the orange light of a heater that warms the room. In the background, mixing with the sound of the site’s pipes, is a funerary audio using the cymbals.
